Cole Harris: Nashville Community Mourns the Loss of Rising Young Actor Known for ‘Shiloh and Bros

NASHVILLE, TN – Cole Harris, a Nashville-based actor recognized for his work on the digital series Shiloh and Bros, has died at age 19 following a courageous fight against a brain tumor. His passing was announced late on June 1 by his mother, Kim Meredith Harris, in a public statement shared just before 11 p.m.

“Early this morning, God called our beautiful boy, Cole, home,” she wrote. “Although his time felt so incredibly short, we are grateful for every single moment we got to love him.”

Harris’s acting career included representation by Avalon Talent Agency and PureTalent Management, with past affiliations at The Avenue Agency Model & Talent and Presence Models & Talent. Beyond his on-screen work, Harris was noted for an act of profound selflessness: years earlier, he donated bone marrow to his sister during her own battle with leukemia.

That quiet sacrifice would later define a young life marked not by the roles he booked, but by the weight of care he carried for others. Even as he faced his own declining health, those close to him recalled a young man who deflected attention from his pain and toward the people he loved.

“We thank God for the gift of Cole’s life,” his mother continued. “We’re so thankful we got the privilege of being his parents.”

Harris lived in Nashville, Tennessee, where he balanced creative ambition with deep family devotion. His death at 19—still the threshold of adulthood—has drawn remembrance not for the length of his career, but for the depth of his character.

He is survived by his parents and sister. No public memorial details have been released at this time.
